4 More Walls are a different kind of team. Founded by Mike Taylor, we’re a private firm dedicated to a seamless design process that values the client's input.

Over 20 years of building experience allows us to take a wider view of the humble garden building. Using modern, proven construction methods, the design possibilities are almost endless.

Our limited output means that you are our only focus from the beginning to the end.

What we Use to Build Garden Rooms

We use the SIP (Structural Insulated Panels) building method of construction as it offers many benefits over timber-framed construction. The panels form a monolithic shell which is up to 7 times stronger than a timber frame structure. As the insulation is a component of the system, rather than an addition, a high level of airtightness is achieved. This results in a building requiring up to 50% less energy to heat, quieter and more draft-free. All this in a lightweight system which has the versatility to create almost any size and shape building.

How we Build Garden Rooms

Once an initial discussion has taken place, a site visit will be arranged, where position, size, and design will be clarified. A final design, specification, and cost will then be produced and agreed with you. The installation will then take place to give you your 4 More Walls.
